The Real Problem
Every day without the right tools costs you time, patients, and clinical confidence. Here's what's really happening.
Manual cross-referencing of tongue, pulse, symptoms, and patterns across textbooks and notes eats into every appointment.
Root cause: No integrated clinical decision tool built for TCM, only generic medical software that doesn't understand pattern differentiation.
Complex cases with overlapping patterns, Liver Qi + Spleen Qi deficiency, for example, leave room for doubt, especially under time pressure.
Root cause: TCM pattern logic requires simultaneous weighting of 4 diagnostic pillars. Human cognitive load limits how many variables can be held at once.
Practitioners using digital platforms project more confidence, deliver faster consultations, and provide take-home reports patients can actually read.
Root cause: The profession is digitalizing. Practitioners without clinical tech infrastructure appear less credible to a new generation of health-conscious patients.
TCM Clinical Pro solves all three, in a single platform.
Features
Enter chief complaint, tongue findings, pulse quality at each position, emotional factors, and listening/smelling observations. The Clinical Synthesis Engine™, mapped from the foundational classical texts, cross-references all four TCM diagnostic pillars simultaneously. Even experienced practitioners struggle to do that without missing a subtle pattern.
Primary + secondary pattern differentiation with rationale
13-step intake covering 七情 emotions, 闻诊 listening/smelling, women's & pediatric data
Cross-references tongue color, coating, shape, sublingual veins, and moisture
Pulse quality at all 6 positions: rate, depth, strength, and character
Generates full herbal formula with ingredient dosages and modifications

Each style is implemented as a distinct clinical system, not adapted from TCM. The engine picks the best approach for each patient and generates style-native protocols: Tung's distal imaging, Cranio scalp zones, Korean constitutional theory. Point rationale is matched to the system you're actually practicing.
Traditional TCM
Standard meridian points, 8 extraordinary vessels, classic selection logic, the foundation of Chinese medicine
Tung's Acupuncture
Distal imaging, Master Tung's point families, mirror therapy, highly effective for pain and systemic conditions
Cranio-Acupuncture
Scalp zones for neurological & functional disorders, effective, evidence-supported
Korean Acupuncture
Sa-Am constitutional method, hand acupuncture, precise and minimally invasive
Japanese Acupuncture
Meridian therapy, Kiiko Matsumoto, Toyohari, gentle needling with refined palpation diagnosis
Richard Tan Balance
I Ching mirror imaging, distal point selection, fast clinical results, especially for pain

How it works
Create a patient profile or run an anonymous case. Enter symptoms, tongue observation, and pulse findings using our clinical intake forms.
Your case is cross-referenced against the diagnostic frameworks of the classical literature, from the Huangdi Neijing to the Shanghan Lun, and returns a complete differential diagnosis with primary and secondary patterns.
Receive a full protocol instantly: acupuncture points with rationale, herbal formula, cupping, moxa, gua sha, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations.
Testimonials
"I've been practicing TCM for 18 years. This platform genuinely helps me see differential patterns I might have weighted differently. The herbal formulas are clinically solid."

"My clinic uses the Clinic plan with 4 practitioners. The shared patient database alone saves us hours per week. The clinical second opinion feature is something we use daily."
R. Monteiro
Clinic Director & TCM Physician

"As someone trained in Tung's acupuncture, I was skeptical any software could handle multiple styles properly. I was wrong. The point selection rationale is remarkably accurate."

Migration Assurance
Data integrity first, migration second. Our EMR migration tool never bulk-dumps your files. Every record goes through a three-stage safety pipeline before anything touches your database.
Your export (CSV, Excel, XML, PDF) is parsed and mapped to a normalized clinical schema: demographics, history, notes and appointments each land in the right field.
Records are matched against your existing patients by email or name and date of birth. Duplicates are flagged for merge instead of being created twice.
You review every row, see exactly what will be created or merged, and confirm. Nothing is written until you approve it.
Your patient records stay yours. Nothing is imported without your explicit confirmation.
Real Clinical Cases
Real cases where pattern differentiation was non-obvious. The AI surfaces overlapping syndromes most practitioners miss.
47yo Female, 6 years of refractory insomnia. Failed CBT-I, melatonin, and 2 prior acupuncturists treating 'Heart-Spleen Deficiency.' Wakes at 3am, dry mouth, palpitations on waking, mild night sweats, intense dreams. Tongue: red tip with center crack, scanty yellow coat at root. Pulse: thready and rapid on the left chi, slippery on right guan.
Diagnosis
Kidney Yin Deficiency with Empty Heat harassing the Heart, complicated by Latent Heat in the Shao Yin layer.
TCM Reasoning
Classical 'Heart-Spleen' presentation misleads, the 3am wake (Liver hour, but with dry mouth and chi pulse weakness) plus the cracked center and rooted yellow coat point to Yin depletion at depth. The Empty Heat ascends to disturb the Shen at night. Prior practitioners treated the branch (Heart) not the root (Kidney).
Western Correlation
Likely peri-menopausal HPA axis dysregulation with low nocturnal melatonin and elevated 3am cortisol. Recommended: 4-point salivary cortisol, FSH/LH, estradiol, and a sleep study to rule out REM-stage fragmentation.
Treatment
KI3 + KI6 (nourish Yin, anchor Shen) · HT6 (Yin Xi, night sweats) · SP6 + LV3 to cool Empty Heat · Yin Tang + An Mian. Herbs: Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan modified with Huang Bai + Zhi Mu (Zhi Bai Di Huang influence) for the Shao Yin Heat. Avoid Suan Zao Ren alone, too sour for this Yin depletion.
What to tell the patient
"Imagine your body is a house with a fire burning in the basement. Previous treatments kept opening windows on the top floor, the smoke cleared briefly, but the fire kept burning. We're going down to put out the fire itself. That's why nothing worked before, and why this time the change will last."
34yo Male, 8 months post Bell's Palsy with 60% recovery plateau. Persistent synkinesis, eye watering on chewing, and a 'pulling sensation' on the affected side worse in cold wind. Tongue: pale with thin white coat, slight bluish tinge on the sides. Pulse: tight and slightly wiry on the left, deficient on the right cun.
Diagnosis
Residual Wind-Cold in the Yang Ming and Shao Yang channels with secondary Blood Stasis in the facial collaterals (Luo), on a background of Lung Qi and Wei Qi Deficiency.
TCM Reasoning
The plateau and synkinesis aren't 'just nerve damage', they're a sign that exogenous Wind has lodged in the collaterals and that local Blood Stasis is now obstructing aberrant nerve regeneration. The bluish tongue sides and tight pulse confirm stasis. The right cun deficiency explains why the Wei Qi never fully expelled the pathogen, the Lung defense was already weak.
Western Correlation
Aberrant regeneration of CN VII (synkinesis) with possible underlying immunodeficiency (recurrent URTIs). Recommended: EMG/nerve conduction to map fiber regeneration; consider IgG subclass panel if recurrent infections.
Treatment
Local: ST2, ST4, ST6, SI18, GB14 with shallow threading + plum-blossom tapping. Distal: LI4 + ST44 (Yang Ming), TE5 + GB41 (Shao Yang). Add LU7 + LU9 to tonify Wei Qi. Bloodletting on visible vessels at Tai Yang. Cupping over upper back (BL12-BL13). Avoid electroacupuncture on the affected side, worsens synkinesis.
What to tell the patient
"Think of your facial nerves like tangled headphone cables in a drawer that hasn't been opened in months. Just pulling harder won't fix it, we need to gently open the drawer, untangle each wire, and clear out the dust that got in. That's what we're doing: releasing what's stuck, then teaching the wires to fire in the right order again."

FAQ
Everything practitioners ask before getting started.
No. It is a clinical decision-support platform designed for licensed practitioners. The platform generates pattern differentiation, point selection rationale, and full protocols, but every clinical decision remains the practitioner's responsibility. We explicitly flag contraindications, safety considerations, and red flags.
Six styles: Traditional TCM, Tung's Acupuncture, Cranio-Acupuncture, Korean (Sa-Am), Japanese (Meridian Therapy / Toyohari), and Richard Tan's Balance Method. Each style uses its own native point-selection logic, not generic TCM with style-specific points bolted on.
It selects a classical base formula appropriate to the pattern, then modifies it with additions and subtractions based on the patient's specific presentation. Every formula includes individual herb dosages, functions, and any contraindications relative to the patient's medications or conditions.
The system flags herb–drug interactions, contraindicated acupuncture techniques (e.g., electro-acupuncture with pacemakers), and bleeding-risk concerns (e.g., bloodletting on anticoagulants). It is designed as a safety net, but always verify against your own clinical references.
You get full access to every feature for 14 days. No credit card required. You can cancel anytime, and if you don't subscribe, your patient data remains safely stored, you can reactivate any time without losing your records.
Yes. Every diagnosis can be exported as a professional PDF report in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or French. Reports include the pattern diagnosis, treatment plan, herbal formula, and patient-friendly explanation.
Yes. The platform is built with GDPR readiness and HIPAA-aligned design principles. Patient data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted to your account, and you retain full ownership of your clinical records at all times.
Yes. There are dedicated modules for women's health (menstrual cycle, pregnancy, menopausal status) and pediatrics (birth history, developmental milestones, feeding habits). The platform adjusts diagnosis and treatment recommendations accordingly, including safer point selection for pregnancy and child-appropriate dosing.
Yes. The Clinic plan includes 3 seats by default, with a shared patient database, role-based access, and team management. Additional seats can be added for larger clinics.
You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your patient records remain stored and accessible should you choose to reactivate. We don't delete clinical data, it's yours.
